Grover Curry Mitchell (born March 17, 1930 in Whatley, Alabama; died August 6, 2003 in New York City's Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center) was a jazz trombonist and bandleader. He was born in Alabama, but his parents moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania when he was eight. It was in Pittsburgh that he became interested in jazz.
