György Kolonics, born June 4, 1972 in Budapest, is a Hungarian canoer, who has won four Olympic medals in the Hungarian team on Canadian Canoe events. He has also had outstanding success at the Flatwater Racing World Championships. No other paddler currently in competition can match his record of fourteen World Championship gold medals.
