Harry Coover (b. March 6, 1919) invented cyanoacrylate glue. He was born in Newark, Delaware. He received his B.S. from Hobart College and his M.S. and Ph.D. from Cornell University. Coover invented the cyanoacrylate adhesive called "super glue", while working at Eastman Kodak in 1942.
