Hazel Gladys Bishop (1906-1998) was a chemist and the founder of the cosmetics company Hazel Bishop, Inc. In 1950 she invented "lasting lipstick", this product was the first of the "non-smear, long lating" type. Born on August 17 1906 in Hoboken, New Jersey.
