Herb Brown (born March 14, 1936) was an American basketball head coach. He coached the Detroit Pistons from the 1975-76 NBA season to the 1977-78 season, twice making the playoffs. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Brown is a graduate of the University of Vermont in 1957. Herb Brown is the brother of Larry Brown; together, they helped coach the Pistons to win the 2004 NBA Finals.
