Hitoshi Matsumoto, or Matchan (松ちゃん) as he is commonly known, is a Japanese comedian best known as the "boke" half of the extremely popular owarai duo Downtown alongside Masatoshi Hamada. Matsumoto is from Hyōgo Prefecture and thus usually speaks in the Kansai dialect. He often appears on television wearing a suit and tie, with the tie tucked in his pants.
