My father is in the military, he joined at 17 years of age. I've moved from place to place all my life. I woke up listening to my parents argueing, and yelling in the middle of the night, and have always felt alone. I was 7 when my parents divorced. And my mother was brazilian and had no familiy in the U.S. so she took my younger brother, Michael, and I to Brazil. During the five years we were there, I grew closer to my mother, and her family.
