Israel Castro is a Mexican football player. He currently plays as a defender for Club Universidad Nacional, a Mexico City team commonly known as the Pumas. He joined the Pumas youh system and worked his way through the ranks to debut in 2002; he's a regular starter and played a very important role on the 2004 campaign of the team, when Pumas won consecutive league championships.
