In 1995 Joseph J. (JJ) Allaire co-founded Allaire Corporation with his brother Jeremy Allaire, creating the web development tool ColdFusion. Allaire was sold to Macromedia in March 2001, where ColdFusion was integrated into the Macromedia MX product line.
