Jack Endewelt (1935 - 2006) was an illustrator. He was born in New York and illustrated books and advertisements. Endewelt began at School of Visual Arts in 1957, completing course work for his certificate in 1960 and his degree in 1984. In 1968, he was appointed to the faculty and then became Co-Chair of the Media Arts Department in 1987 and Chair of the BFA Illustration and Cartooning Department in 1991.
