Jack Hildyard (March 17, 1908, London-September 1990, London) was a British cinematographer who worked on more than 80 films during his career. He made several films with David Lean including "The Sound Barrier" (1952) and "Hobson's Choice" (1954), as well as "Bridge on the River Kwai" (1957), for which he won an Academy Award for Best Cinematography and the British Society of Cinematographers Award.
