Jackie Paris (September 20, 1926 - June 17, 2004) was an American jazz singer and guitarist. He was born Carlo Jackie Paris in Nutley, NJ. A bopper, Paris even toured with Charlie Parker. He is probably best known for his recordings of "Skylark" and "Round Midnight" in the late 1940s. Paris performed and/or recorded with Terry Gibbs, Lionel Hampton, Coleman Hawkins, Dizzy Gillespie, Donald Byrd, Gigi Gryce, Charles Mingus, and others. Wikipedia
