Jake Van Gyna (born 1975 in Sydney, Australia) is a guitarist and composer best known for his innovative guitar work with rock and metal band Tsunami Apocalypse. Jake Van Gyna, born Jacob Von Gynapolous, was born into poverty in the Western Suburbs of Sydney, Australia. At a very early age he displayed a natural affinity for both guitar playing and slot car racing.
