James Dickens was a member of the city council of Irving, Texas. He was re-elected in May 2004 to serve a three-year term. Dickens is a City of Irving Public Works/Engineering retiree. He currently serves as a member of the council's Public Works committee and chair of the Community Services committee. He also serves as the Council liaison to the Parks and Recreation Board and Youth Council, as well as the alternate liaison to the Preservation and Redevelopment Board. Wikipedia
