James Gillespie Graham was a Scottish architect, born in Dunblane. He is most notable for his work in the Scottish Gothic style (sometimes called Scottish baronial), as at Ayton Castle. His work was heavily influenced by that of Augustus Pugin. Graham designed principally country houses and churches. He is also well known for his interior design, his most noted work in this respect being that at Taymouth Castle and Hopetoun House. His principal works include St. Wikipedia
