James Lawrence King (born on December 20, 1927 in Miami, Florida) is the senior federal judge in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and one of the longest serving federal judges in the entire United States. Judge King was appointed to his current position on October 30, 1970 by President Richard Nixon.
