James Smith is the guitarist for the post-hardcore band Underoath from Tampa, Florida. He began playing guitar in 7th grade and currently plays a Fender Telecaster and a Gibson Les Paul. Smith is the only member of Underoath who's attended college. He enrolled in pre-med studies at the University of South Florida before later focusing on criminology, which helped his then-job as an office assistant for the FBI. Wikipedia
