James the Fat (died 1429) was the youngest son of Murdoch Stewart, Duke of Albany and Isabella of Lennox. Little is known of his life before the arrest of Duke Murdoch, by King James I on 21 March 1425. After this, James served as a rallying point for enemies of the King, particularly in the Earldom of Lennox and the west. Later in 1425, threatened by a royal expedition, James fled to Ireland, accompanied by the illegimate sons of his brother Walter of Lennox. Wikipedia
