Jan Benda (born April 28, 1972 in Reef, Belgium) is a German ice hockey player. Born in Belgium to Czech parents, Benda briefly played in the National Hockey League for the Washington Capitals, playing nine games for the Capitals and scoring 3 assists. He currently plays in the Czech Republic for Litvinov and previously had spells in Germany, Finland and Russia as well as in North America.
