Janet L. Robinson was named to the newly created position of senior vice president, newspaper operations for The New York Times Company in February 2001. In this role, Ms. Robinson leads the operations of all of the Company’s newspaper properties, which include The New York Times, The Boston Globe and 16 other newspapers.
