Jason Macy (born in Auckland, New Zealand) is a photographer and writer specializing in cars and racing. At the age of 10, he attended his first Formula One race at the Adelaide Circuit. He submitted a photograph he took at the race to a contest conducted by F1 Racing Magazine. He was amongst 4 other contestants to have their photographs published later that year.
