Jay Evans Adjunct Instructor Trombone, Chamber Music Web Page Jay Evans is currently Principal Trombonist of the Alabama Symphony Orchestra, a position he has held since October, 2000. In 2002, he performed Jim Pugh's Concerto for Trombone and Orchestra during the ASO's Sounds for Summer series. He also shared a concert with Olivia Newton-John in November, 2003, performing with the orchestra on the Australian Aboriginal instrument, the Didgeridoo. samford.edu
