Blurb: Jeb Hensarling (born May 29, 1957), American politician, has been the Republican congressman representing the Texas 5th congressional district (map) in the United States House of Representatives since 2003. Hensarling was born in Stephenville, Texas, and grew up on the family farm in College Station. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 1979 with a bachelor's degree in economics. In 1982 he earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Texas at Austin. | |
