Jim Sweeney is a former college football coach most noted for his success as a head coach at Fresno State and Washington State. From 1963-67, he was the head coach at Montana State in Bozeman. Sweeney compiled a 31-20 (.608) record in his five seasons with the Bobcats, where one of his starting quarterbacks was Dennis Erickson.
