Jimmy Briand (born August 2 1985 in Vitry-sur-Seine, France) is a French football player who plays as a forward. He currently plays for Stade Rennais, and has also played for the French national under-21 team in recent times. He won the Coupe Gambardella in 2003. He received his first call-up to the senior France National Team in May, 2007 for the June Euro qualifiers against Ukraine and Georgia.
