Joao Siffert, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Siffert joined Avera in May, 2005. Prior to joining Avera, he held positions of increasing responsibilities at Pfizer Inc. since 2002. Initially, he joined the medical affairs migraine group where he supported the US launch of Relpax (eletriptan). For the last two years at Pfizer, Dr. Siffert headed the worldwide medical team for Lyrica (pregabalin) and Neurontin (gabapentin) in the areas of epilepsy and pain. Dr. Siffert
