Jobe Watson (born February 8, 1985) is an Australian rules footballer in the Australian Football League. Watson, who is the son of former Essendon Football Club legend Tim Watson, was selected at pick no 40 under the father-son rule in the 2002 AFL Draft. With big raps on the youngster when he arrived at Essendon due to his family links, soft tissue injuries interrupted his progression in both the 2003 and 2004 seasons, and his form did not improve during 2005.
