Joe Turkel (15 July 1927, in Brooklyn, New York) is a prolific American character actor. He is noted for his craggy looks and distinctive, penetrating voice. His most famous roles are Dr. Eldon Tyrell, the eccentric God-figure in Ridley Scott's "Blade Runner" (1982), and Lloyd, the Overlook Bartender in Stanley Kubrick's "The Shining" (1980). Wikipedia
