John Button is a resident of Western Australia, who wrongfully spent 5 years in prison for manslaughter. He was charged and convicted, but serial killer Eric Edgar Cooke later confessed to the murder on death row. Button was sentenced to 10 years in 1963 for the death of his girlfriend.
