John Eekelaar (born 2 July 1942) is a law professor and an expert in family law. He currently teaches at Pembroke College, the University of Oxford, where he is Senior Tutor. Eekelaar was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, and earned his LL.B. from the University of London in 1963, and gained his B.C.L. and M.A. from the University of Oxford in 1965 and 1967 respectively.
