John Filion (born 1950) is a Toronto city councillor representing one of the two Willowdale wards, Ward 23 Willowdale. Filion attended York University and he graduated with a degree in journalism. He became a journalist specializing in education issues. He was the founding editor of the "Canadian World Almanac."
