John Cioffi , Stanford University John M. Cioffi has been on the faculty of the Electrical Engineering Department at Stanford University since 1986 and was appointed to the Hitachi America Professorship in 2002. John was the recipient of the 2006 Marconi Award recognizing his seminal contributions to communication technology.
