John Macintyre (born 1857 - died 1928) was a doctor who set up the world's first radiology department at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary, in Glasgow, Scotland. Originally trained as an electrical engineer, he later graduated in 1882 from the University of Glasgow with the Bachelor of Medicine degree.
