John Lowell McLaren (born September 29 1951 in Galveston, Texas) is the current manager for the Seattle Mariners in Major League Baseball, having replaced Mike Hargrove on July 1, 2007. Previously, he served as the Mariners' bench coach in the first part of the 2007 season and from 1998-2003, and as a coach for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays under Lou Piniella.
