John Quiggin (born 29 March 1956 in Adelaide) is an Australian economist and professor at the University of Queensland. Quiggin studied at the Australian National University, there achieving bachelor's degrees in Arts and Economics in 1978 and 1980 respectively, and further completing a master's degree in Economics in 1984.
