John Robbins (born October 26 1947) is an American author known for his books on food and health. He is the son of Irma Robbins and Baskin-Robbins co-founder Irv Robbins. He graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1969, and received a Master's Degree from Antioch College, in 1976. Rather than following the ice-cream parlour legacy of his father, John Robbins turned down his vast inheritance to seek a life he found more rewarding. Wikipedia
