John Stirratt is the bassist for Wilco and the former bassist of Uncle Tupelo. He and Jeff Tweedy are the only original members of Wilco still with the band. Stirratt is also the twin brother of Laurie Stirratt, formerly of Blue Mountain. Together they released an album in 2004 titled Arabella, under the name Laurie and John.
