He played for the New York Rangers, Florida Panthers, Philadelphia Flyers, New York Islanders, and New Jersey Devils. During his National Hockey League career, Vanbiesbrouck compiled a record of 374 wins, 346 losses and 119 ties. He is considered one of the top American goaltenders in the history of the NHL.
