John Waters was an Ontario political figure. He represented Middlesex North in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario as a Liberal member from 1879 to 1894. Waters served as reeve for East Williams Township from 1868 to 1875 and was warden for Middlesex County in 1875. In 1893, he introduced a bill which would have given women the vote in provincial elections. Wikipedia
