Joseph Fielding Smith (July 19, 1876 - July 2, 1972) was the tenth president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 1970 to 1972. He had been named to the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles in 1910, when his father, with whom he shared a name but who is generally referred to as Joseph F. Smith, was President of the Church.
