Joseph L. Rotman, OC, MA, LL.D (born January 6, 1935) is a Canadian businessman and philanthropist. Born in Toronto, Ontario, he received his BA from the University of Western Ontario in 1957 and his MA from the University of Toronto in 1960. In 1987, he founded Clairvest Group Inc., a Canadian-based merchant bank. The University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management is named in his honour after he donated C$18 million toward the school.
