Judge Sam Welch

Judge Welch is a born again Christian and a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Monroeville, Alabama, a former Sunday school teacher, and served as a counselor at Crosspoint Christian Camp for four years. He graduated from the University of Alabama in 1976, receiving a Juris Doctorate. While at the University of Alabama he was selected as an editor of the Law & Psychology Review . He published a note in that review: "Donaldson v. O'Conner, a De Facto Right to Treatment."
