My husband Jeremy and I moved from Dallas to a small town in East Texas earlier this year, and boy, is it "different". I've finally realized a childhood dream of owning horses, but I've given up a lot to get them; i.e. neighborhood pubs, a good job, restaurants that serve entrees which don't boast of lard as their main ingredient, etc. Still, it's nice and quiet out here.... when the neighbors aren't trying to recruit us for their churches.
