Kathleen Ankers (1919-October 24, 2001) was the scenic designer for NBC's Late Night with David Letterman. She also appeared on "Late Night" as the "NBC Bookmobile lady" and as "Peggy, the Foul-Mouthed Chambermaid". She also appeared on Letterman's CBS "Late Show with David Letterman" as various characters, including "Helen, the ill-tempered Ticket Lady", from 1993 until 2001. Wikipedia
