Kevin Wayne Durant (born September 29, 1988 in Washington, D.C.) is a 6'9" basketball player for the Seattle SuperSonics, taken second in the 2007 NBA Draft from the University of Texas. He was selected as the 2006-2007 Phillips 66 Big 12 Player of the Year and received numerous other awards.
