Kevin Ward is an American police officer and politician from the US state of Oklahoma. Ward is the current Secretary of Safety and Security and Commissioner of the Department of Public Safety. Ward began his law enforcement career in 1979 at the Bethany, Oklahoma Police Department. He joined the Department of Public Safety in 1980 serving on the Governor’s Mansion Security before his appointment the Oklahoma Highway Patrol in 1985. Wikipedia
