Yeongrang Kim Yun-sik (1903-1950) was a Korean writer from Gangjin county, South Jeolla province, in present-day South Korea. He participated in the Korean independence movement as a teenager, was jailed for six months in Daegu, and lived in Japan from 1920-1923. He died on September 29, 1950 in Seoul, the result of a bullet wound to the stomach during the Korean War. Under the penname Yeongrang, he was especially active in literature during the 1930s and 1940s. Wikipedia
