Ladislav Adamec was a Czechoslovak communist political figure. In October 1988, Lubomír Štrougal retired from being the Prime Minister and was replaced by Ladislav Adamec. He was the Prime Minister of Czechoslovakia from October 12, 1988 to December 7, 1989. He had previously been the Prime Minister of the Czech Socialist Republic from 1987 to 1988. Wikipedia
