Lem Dobbs (born Lem Kitaj on December 24, 1959 in Oxford, England) is an American screenwriter. He is best known for the film "The Limey". Dobbs' chosen name is taken from the character played by Humphrey Bogart in "Treasure of the Sierra Madre". He is the son of American painter R.B. Kitaj. He has three sons: Joe, Sam, and Luke Kitaj.
