Leonard Ian Singer is a pharmacist in Ramsey. Singer was born in Manchester and has lived in Portugal and Tenerife. He moved to the island in 1989 and set up Singer's Pharmacy in Ramsey. He was involved in local politics as a district councillor in Stockport, Greater Manchester and as a Ramsey Commissioner from 1991 to 1996.
